As we move into the second quarter of the 21st century, our daily lives are being shaped by faster technology and a more connected world. This fireside chat is an open conversation on how these big-picture changes are affecting our mental well-being and our sense of who we are.We will keep the discussion broad, touching on a few key areas:
The Digital Influence: How social media and modern algorithms are changing the way the younger generation builds their identity and finds a sense of belonging.
The Search for Purpose: A look at where people are finding meaning today—whether through traditional roots like religion or new, modern communities.
Future Outlook: Are we still fueled by a "hope for the future," and is our current progress leading us toward better well-being or just a busier, more commercialized life?
The goal is to reflect on what it feels like to navigate today’s world and how we, as a psychotherapy community, can support people in finding balance and hope amidst so much change.
